Somerville School NOIDA celebrates Van Mahotsav: Rooted in Hope, Reaching for Tomorrow 

The students of Class IX conducted a special assembly on the occasion of Van Mahotsava on 9 July 2026,  highlighting the invaluable role of trees in sustaining our economy and promoting mental well-being. Through engaging  presentations like - speeches, song ( by students of Class 9) and dance performance , by students of Classes 6 and 7,  students conveyed the message that forests are our greatest natural treasure.
The assembly also showcased how Artificial Intelligence (AI), drones, and satellite technology can help monitor forests, prevent deforestation, and conserve green reserves, reinforcing the message that technology should always serve nature.
The entire event was prepared under the guidance of - Mrs Ritu Sharma, Mrs Shilpi Jha, Mrs Sutapa Bandyopadhyay and Mrs Shaily Chatterjee.
