On 3rd September 2026, the auditorium of Somerville School NOIDA, transformed into a hub of jubilation and heartfelt gratitude as the senior students of Classes 11 and 12 organised a spectacular Teachers’ Day programme. The morning was a fitting tribute to the dedicated educators who inspire and guide the school community every day.
The event commenced on a soul-stirring note with mesmerising musical renditions. The Indian music choir captivated the audience with rich, melodious harmonies, followed by an exhilarating, uplifting performance by the western music choir.
The energy escalated with spectacular dance performances, a graceful classical dance showcasing exquisite poise and a dynamic western dance routine that had the hall echoing with applause.
Thoughtful speeches delivered by the Head Boy, Head Girl, and Vice Head Girl added a touch of profound reverence to the occasion.
Injecting a wave of delightful laughter, the students staged a brilliantly written, humorous skit titled “Operation Teachers’ Day”, which hilariously depicted the secret missions and playful chaos behind planning the event.
The memorable celebration culminated with an inspiring address by our respected Principal ma’am, who commended the senior students for their stellar efforts and reminded everyone of the invaluable role teachers play in shaping compassionate, future-ready global citizens. It was a heartwarming tribute that beautifully celebrated the extraordinary bond between teachers and students at Somerville School NOIDA.
