The air at Somerville School, NOIDA, was thick with anticipation and pride as the school gathered for one of its most prestigious events: the annual Investiture Ceremony. The occasion marked the formal appointment of the new Student Council, a group of young leaders chosen to guide the student body and uphold the values of the institution for the academic year 2026-27.

The solemn ceremony commenced in the presence of proud parents, teachers, and students. The newly appointed student leaders marched with grace and determination, ready to step into their new roles.
The highlight of the morning was the pinning of badges and bestowing of sashes, symbolising the transition of authority and trust. 

The apex of the student leadership team was officially introduced:
Head Girl: Sagarika Lamba
Head Boys: Syed Ibrahim Rizvi and Aaryan Prasad Nayak
Vice Head Girl: Ipshita Singh

Alongside the central council, the Captains and Vice Captains of the respective houses were also invested with their responsibilities, standing tall as representatives of their houses' spirit and competitive drive.
Adding to the gravity of the occasion, the House Mistresses delivered motivating speeches. They congratulated the new office bearers, reminding them that true leadership lies in service, accountability, and setting a stellar example for their peers.

Our respected Principal Ma’am, Mrs MN Arul Raj, then administered the sacred oath of office. With hands raised in unison, the council pledged to serve the school with loyalty, integrity, and dedication. Following the oath, Principal Ma'am offered a special prayer, invoking blessings for wisdom, strength, and guidance for the leaders in the year ahead.

The memorable morning concluded on a high note, with the entire auditorium echoing with the harmonious strains of the School Song, followed by the National Anthem. It was a proud day for Somerville School NOIDA, as a new generation of leaders stepped forward to leave their mark.
