It’s a time of new beginnings and personal reflection. Easter assembly is a great way of getting everyone into the spirit.
The Easter assembly conducted by the students of Somerville School, NOIDA commenced with the special prayer for easter. The event highlighted the importance of this easter as a symbol of reaffirmation of our faith in justice, peace and God’s everlasting love for us.
The assembly beautifully portrayed the biblical story of the deaf and dumb man who was healed by Jesus. The term “Ephaphatha” meaning ‘Be opned’ was emphasised in the assembly through an audio narration along with visual representation of the story which reminded us that hope should never be lost for as dark the road may seem. We must wait for our ephatha moment with patience and a humble heart as God’s plan for each one of us is flawless in every step of the way.The assembly ended with melodious euphonious song based on the theme ‘Ephphatha’ by the music teachers and school choir.
